Gregory Smith, M.D.

Gregory Smith, M.D., Comprehensive Pain Relief Group

Dr. Smith is a graduate from Indiana University with a degree in both Chemistry and Biology. He went on to graduate from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis and completed a residency in Anesthesiology at SUNY in New York. He was elected chief resident and completed a fellowship in pain management. He is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management.

Dr. Smith is the former Director of Pain Management at Harbor UCLA and Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA. He went on to form Comprehensive Pain Relief Group inc. in 2001 and is currently President and Medical Director. He has published numerous research articles, published over 12 books, hosted 2 radio shows and has appeared as guest on multiple local and national radio and television shows. He has lectured around the United States and currently resides in Redondo Beach, CA with his son.

Sanford M. Silverman, M.D., Comprehensive Pain Medicine

Dr. Silverman is in private practice as the Medical Director and CEO of Comprehensive Pain Medicine (www.cpmedicine.com), Pompano Beach, Florida. He is board certified in anesthesiology with added qualifications in pain management from the American Board of Anesthesiology and a Diplomat in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Pain Medicine. He is also a dilplomate in Addiction Medicine from the American Board of Addiction Medicine. His practice consists of interventional and medical treatment of chronic pain, opioid addiction and currently has an interest in treating complex chronic pain with hyperalgesia.  The author of articles and letters in publications such as Anesthesiology, the Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia, the Canadian Journal of Anesthesiology and Pain Physician, Dr. Silverman has also lectured nationally on topics including interventional pain management, opioid management and addiction issues, and in the area of forensic medicine. Dr. Silverman is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, Florida Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Addiction Medicine, Florida Society of Addiction Medicine and the Florida Medical Association. He is on the board of the Broward County Medical Association and is the vice-president of the Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Silverman also serves on the Task Force for Prescription Medication Abuse of the Broward County Commission on Substance Abuse, which is devoted to preventing prescription medication abuse, diversion and addiction.



Michael Sinel, M.D., UCLA Physiatrist and Clinical Professor

Dr. Sinel is a medical school graduate from State University New York at Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. As an attending physician at the UCLA Medical Center and Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Sinel brings extensive academic and clinical experience. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), serves as the Director of PM&R for Innovative Medical Solutions and Institute for Spinal Disorders of Los Angeles, and serves as an Independent Medical Examiner and Qualified Medical Examiner for the Workers’ Compensation Board of the State of California.  Dr. Sinel is co-Medical Director of the Spine Injury Management Program for the Zenith Insurance Company.  He is a member of North American Spine Society, Int’l Assoc. for the Study of Pain, Downstate Alumni Society, American Medical Assoc., American Congress of PM&R, California Society of PM&R, Young Physician Assoc. of Los Angeles, American Pain Society, American Back Society, American Academy of PM&R, American Academy of Pain Management, California Medical Association, Los Angeles County Medical Assoc., and Physiatric Assoc. Spine Sports and Occup. Rehab.. He is also active in his community serving as a volunteer with Community Education Foundation, Free Arts for Abused Children Organization, Overcoming Obstacles, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
 

 

Miguel Dominguez, M.D., American Pain Institute

Dr. Miguel Dominguez has been practicing Interventional Pain Medicine since 1992. Dr. Dominguez is board certified in Pain Medicine (ABPM), Interventional Pain Medicine (ASIPP) and Anesthesiology (ABA). He is the Founder, President, and Medical Director for American Pain Institute. Dr. Dominguez is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Pain Fellowship at Loma Linda University. Dr. Dominguez is a member of various pain societies including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), California Medical Association (CMA), the World Institute of Pain, and is a fellow of Interventional Pain Practice through the World Institute of Pain, the only global certifying organization that tests the ability to perform interventional pain procedures. Dr. Dominguez is also a Surveyor for the Ambulatory Accreditation Program in California that is administered by The Institute for Medical Quality (IMQ).
